yay!!
i love this time of year (although it's heavily ridden with consumer holiday crap)
it's time to rise up and further activate!

may this next year of life bring us all abundance and splendid bliss , sprinkled with sunshine love

    don't know what to do for my boyfriend...
    thinking of making him dinner at home, with tons of leftovers as he never has proper food at home.
    then i was thinking i should contact all his friends and organize a party.
    making things difficult is he is going to be playing in a 10-day (typical Sag) poker tournament on the weekend of his birthday.
    any ideas?

      Wheres the touney (tell him good luck from a fellow Sage, btw... LUV watching poker... well..., when they show all the hands and odds on screen anyway....smile) ?
      Maybe get his buds to go somewhere near it to surprise him...? That would really stand out to him and be really obviously supportive....


      Or maybe make one of his fave dinners and bring it to him at the tourney.....??

      Or is there a pro player he admires...? See if u can get an autographed pic.....

        it's in Atlantic City...an hour from where he lives.
        I might do the dinner thing...because of school and work I won't be able to make it until the final days of the tournament, so I hope he is still in it by then! that would be really nice.
        alternatively, i'll wait till after the tourney and i think i'll clean his apartment from top to bottom - sorely needed – and then make him a big dinner at home. I’m thinking lasagna – something that he can have leftovers with for days, because he is always eating take out and I think he would appreciate having some home cooked food in the house. I might even stretch my skills and make a homemade cake. How does that sound?

      Almost time for another Solar Return! :-) I'm excited about this one: Next year I'll have Leo rising - hopefully it will be an expansive and "selfish" year where I can focus on my self and my own life instead of standing in everyone else's shadow. I have many plans and I hope they will take me far.

      And yep - another birthday coming closer. The big 2-7 this time, lol :o) Another year older, just a little wiser

    i turned 31 yesterday!

    i started celebrating over the weekend at a full moon gathering in the desert. had pumpkin pie with candles for bday cake monday night i went to amma's devi bhava and got a hug and birthday wish from amma chi! .last night i got drunk with my girls on tasty belgian ales and left drunk dial-esque comments on my boy's tribe page. hehe.good times. good times. i think there will be one last hurrah this weekend before i finally stop celebrating my bday. hehe. wee

    oh and i have had this little revelation:
    your 30s are like your twenties again, but this time you know now, what you didnt know then.
    hehe, a lil wiser....just a little...
