Wed, December 20, 2006 - 8:07 AMIn my experience, Water mixed with my Fire tends to douse me, mitigating my energy and washing away the passion.
Air signs tend to turn up the heat, breathing air into my fire, causing the flame to burn brighter.
Earth signs give me something to hold onto - they "ground" me, literally. Can be a good or bad thing, depending on the person and the interpersonal dynamic.
But I have yet to get on famously with a water sign. -

They're also two spots away from us on the Zodiac, which is typically a very compatible match.

But I have *gallons* of water in my 2x fire chart (Sag sun, Leo rising, but moon in Pisces, Venus in Scorp, etc.) So yea, Pisces works great for me (currently waiting for a Pisces, born in March of 1960, with a Sag moon, to miraculously appear in my life. Patiently. Waiting. Really.)

We have a very passionate relationship, yet we rarely fight because we've both learned to just let each other be. The sex is still as hot as it was the first time - and we are still very active in that department.
So yes, I would say that it works. -

But my girlfriends ? it works, they are so different from me, that it keeps the interest going. I find that the women appear to be gentle/dreamy but in reality they have the strongest back bone of anyone I've met.
My brother is a Pisces, and though I like the guy, he can drone on and on when he's making a point, sigh...
My cousin is also a Pisces, I like his observations, and he has a dry sense of humour.
I tend to lose my patience with Pisces, I've noticed, and that's why the "No" vote. There just a little too flimsy/floppy when time for a decision.

Don't know if this is because we're both mutable signs, but I can say that Pisces are good friends, but NOT lovers. In general, I hate making generalizations :) But... I've dated enough Pisces to know to leave them alone.
Creative and artistic collaborations are cool but sex and emotions? Hells to the no.

You say you feel doused by your pisces but let me tell you we get so heated up by you guys.
Ordinarily we arent so clingy and paranoid but you sag's with your independent and sometimes cold ways, kind of make us that way.
My boyfriend personally breaks my heart every week. But he doesnt realise just how much he hurts me and thinks im being clingy....
It's the most intense relationship of my life and i love him beyond belief, but i know we wont work out. Its too much like a rollercoaster.
I wish SOOOOOOOOOO much that we would work tho.

and your moon and venus and what not really matter. i think pisces are particularly like sag's in their mutability, and understand that you feel different this way to that. i think sag's tend to be blah blah blah, today i hate you today i love you a lot more, and pisces ponder these things slowly, silently more, but i think this is some of the greatest learning potential here.

Same sort of hang back stance, baleful eyes, usually tall, decent to good taste in clothes and things, although that's because they choose mates to teach them what they feel they need to learn at the time. Overly flippin' cautious, soft spoken( and what's with the side burns?!)
Fixation with the feet, and can always tell if one is attracted by how they hug you. It will be extra firm, and long-lasting. Alas, even given the good stuff, Pisces men are just a little on the dull side for me. Or maybe I need time to slow down to truly appreciate one. -

and then i unfortunately LOVE them. in the last 3 years, 3 out of the 5 men i slept with/dated were all pisces. guess which sign the 2 that both broke my heart were?

after one of them left me sad and heartbroken i swore i would never sleep with someone i was falling in love with if they didnt want to commit to me and just be casual again. im so sick of casual only. its all anyone ever seems to want. i always get hurt. so anyways, who do i meet right after? another pisces. when he told me what sign he was i jokingly held up my fingers like a cross and said " ahhhhhh!!!! nooo!!!" no more casual fish pleeeease!
well, his venus is in aries so he got what he wanted. me. but in the end i compromised my vow to not agree to be in a casual relationship and he shattered my heart the worst. my bad for not sticking to my vow. but man in the beginning he was just so sweet and loving and dammit he was good. best lover ive ever had.
we sagittarians are blunt and straightforward and honest. pisces are deceptive, dont like confrontation. bad combo. liars and honest people. but we are both passionate.
the sex was fucking incredible. and i think thats what it was all about. i got so wrapped up in the amazing sex . i hardly noticed all the times he was a dick and all the times we fought about shit. not until after we werent talking anymore and i read my journal from the time we were dating and saw all my venting about him being an asshole. he was also an alcoholic. the other pisces i dated drank alot as well, but this one was a full blown alcoholic. he lives in a fantasy world, thinks he is some magi and knows all these answers and travels through lifetimes building dreams blah blah blah tarot blah blah get girls into bed with this bullshit.
i see why the fish and the centaurs do get along, we're mutable, kinda seem to be into the same things...good for friendship, not for love.
maybe its different male/female. i mean, i do think sag males are fucking crazy and are capable of some seriously fucked up heartbreaking.(one example- jim morrison. he was crazy! and had 2 wives. he was not always nice to them.) its different than girl sags. but im speaking from my own personal hell being a female sag and falling in love with male pisces.
but hey, maybe dont listen to me, im a little bitter. im so damaged after that last pisces that i seriously will be hesitant if i dont run screaming in terror for the hills the next time i meet a guy and theres flirting and he tells me he is a pisces. pretty much a deal breaker for me in the love dept now seriously.
